We recommend starting with grants4teachers.com first. This is a simple, easy to use tool where you can periodically scan for new grants based on category and location. Below, we walk you through a step by step guide to using the grant finder tool.
STEP 1
GO TO GRANTS4TEACHERS.COM AND COMPLETE ALL FIELDS, AS PICTURED BELOW.
NOTE: ENTERING A KEYWORD IS OPTIONAL. SINCE ACTION BASED LEARNING SUPPORTS A WIDE VARIETY OF INITIATIVES, IT CAN BE HARD TO NARROW DOWN YOUR SEARCH SOMETIMES. WE RECOMMEND FILTERING FOR THE TERM "WELLNESS", AS THIS ENCOMPASSES THE CORE OF WHAT ACTION BASED LEARNING - TO SERVE THE OVERALL WELLNESS OF THE CHILD (INCLUDING ACADEMICS, PHYSICAL HEALTH, AND SOCIAL EM
OTIONAL HEALTH).

IN THE NEXT SECTION YOU WILL BE ASKED TO IDENTIFY YOUR INSTITUTION TYPE:

CHECK OFF ALL TYPES OF GRANTS YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN THE RESULTS. SINCE ABL PROVIDES THE FOUNDATION FOR LEARNING, WHILE ALSO SUPPORTING OVERALL WELLNESS, MOST GRANT CATEGORIES WILL APPLY! SELECT WHICH CATEGORIES MAY APPLY TO YOU AND YOUR PROJECT
STEP 5
CLICK SEARCH TO VIEW YOUR RESULTS! YOU WILL BE PROVIDED A LIST OF ALL AVAILABLE GRANTS YOU CAN APPLY FOR. MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE GRANT WEBSITE DIRECTLY AND REVIEW ELIGIBILITY PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR FUNDING.
STEP 6
